drip ^ 6

there now are 5 buckets in my room catching 6 drips and one is above my bed. looks like i will be sleeping with a bucket tonight! O_x

for the past three days i have had non-stop water dripping from my bedroom ceiling. at first there was only one spot that was leaking and now there's two! i've had moments where i compare the dripping rates of each area, listen to the "calming" effects of water dripping and quickly rushing to the bathroom. ;) all i can say is thank goodness the rain has stopped and now our flat roof can dry (it will take awhile for the dripping to subside). i guess i just have leaky spots above me which explains the water stain on the other side of my bed spread i found a few weeks ago...

on to more fun items: introducing my bridesmaid's bouquets!

these are a mixture of colors and fillers (berries!) they are going to have...





but less "bright" pink...i tried to get some pink in but was vetoed out! ;P

i got m' berries 'n pearly thingys 'n orchids

yesterday we met with the florist to finalize floral details (thank you MySS for not looking too bored ;)! my "dream" creamish bouquet is going to have roses, berries, orchids, and stephanotis! woo hoo!

all have to be individually wired (because of weak steams) to look like this?!



i really admire the labor intensive work florists go through.

b/c of rapidly increasing platinum prices, i had to buy this in a jiffy! i love online shopping! i'm praying that the transaction 'n shipping goes well.

recently, the common question we have been getting is "how's w-planning going?" the common answer is "hm, we've got the major stuff planned and we're kinda taking a break since it's still a bit far away." i can proudly say we are finally moving in deciding on our favors, florist, and making me look pretty. i didn't know people would have such reactive answers when i would say "should i do my own make-up and even my own hair? or even the flowers? perhaps the cake?" i love the reaction of shock then, no WAY you are crazy! answers. hence i took the throw money at things to make the problem go away advice. at least i get to DIY the favors! only 150 more to go. yes, time is on my side (for now), my friends.

"save a little in one area, to use in another area." :)
