congrats to my MN home gal jen and her hubby brian! she's the first of our h.s buddies to have a baby! a girl on 1/6/07!

also, congrats to another ex-MN-er moved to CA...sandy & michael on their second kiddo! a boy on 1/2/07!

man power vs. machine

in lieu of the new year...once again, i resolved to be healthier. i am thinking about purchasing an ellpitical machine from costco. i have a few pros and cons about owning an exercise machine...will it be easier to motivate myself to exercise at home? is it cost efficient? will i actually use it? space issues...can i motivate myself to exercise without a machine? it's harder in the winter to exercise, especially outdoors.

what do you guys think? especially those who own exercise machines at home, do you still use it?
