i'm going to stop drinking coffee again. sigh. too bad i just bought some trader joe's organic coffee. any takers? it's decaf! my coffee habit is a vicious cycle. i decided to stop again b/c of um, re-occuring chest pains. heh.

cheese board cheese bread is YUM. well, anything w/ cheese is YUM. i ventured to e.bay today b/c i had a "field trip" at the SBA in oakland. i went up earlier to get some cheeseboard yummies and catch lunch w/ jenny. i was soooo full after 1/2 a chicken sandwich from cafe intermezzo. it was soooo painful. jenny can describe how i was rolling over in pain. ;P i didn't believe it when karen said you can't finish a salad and 1/2 sandwich. i truly believe it now.

- i wish i could open a cafe like intermezzo down here.
- i want to bake scones like cheese board does. i must buy the recipe book!
- oakland is NOT that scary, well where i was. i even found free unlimited parking!

spring break?
i guess it's my spring break but it doesn't feel like it. well, i will be taking off for LA tomorrow for a few days. unfortunately, i still have tons of homework to do. i hope to get some done while i'm not chasing the kiddies around. yay, i will have 4 days of no werk! :P i can't wait to see those 2 cute/silly kids and there's another lil' bun in the oven!

i have had the house to myself for about two weeks and been too lazy to buy any fud. i thought about what i survived on: 2 heads of lettuce, 10 roma tomatoes, a loaf of bread, some cheese, and 2 lbs of muscat grapes. i can say that i came up with some creative solutions to my limited resources. please, no more salad for me! BUT thanks to phOenoch i got to mooch and had some real dinners a couple of times. i hope they aren't sick of me! ;P
btw: motorcycle ride was da best. too bad some of you missed out! i wish i could learn how to ride a motorcycle but i'm not THAT crazy. heh heh. thanks enoch!

alrite, i'm outtie to la la land!

the outside is evil. i am not going outdoors unless i have to go somewhere. pollen is lurking everywhere! yesterday, i had the worst allergy attack of the year. i was walking, enjoying the beautiful day until...everything broke loose. it started with mr. gnat flying into my eye and being lodged in there for 10 mins. (i hope he didn't leave any offspring/pieces in my eyeball.) after that, the allergies came full force. i won't paint that picture. let's just say i am suffering the aftermath today and refuse to go outdoors.

i'm learning the importance of documenting your work when you are creating a website. sigh. i hope i can be done with work by friday. :/ it's taking longer than i thought. um, arex...:P

i can run a full graphic design business from my powerbook now. :) i am hooked UP with ALL my software! i finally got adobe CS premium: acrobat, illustrator, in design, image ready, and go live yesterday. woo hoo! i've never been this excited for software. i think i am turning into a computer geek. :O

i got a contract job and it starts tomorrow. guess who i am working for. ;P

interesting sights
is it time for the CHP to give out speeding tickets? i saw 4 cars get pulled over going north and south on 280 within 5 mins. it gave me the heebeejeebees. good thing there was some traffic i was stuck behind. later on, i passed the hiding spot for the cop that was radioing in to the CHP. he was hidden behind this ditch. scary. i think i will be driving behind slow ppls. well, for this week at least. ;P

i saw a woman jump out of her car in a turn lane to wave the canadian geese away from the oncoming traffic. props to her. very brave, indeed. frankly, i could care less for those dang geese. brings back the time to when i lived on a lake, the honking noise, and a bb gun. secret, secret!

wat i learned in class today
i learned about the power of adobe acrobat. did you know you can create order forms out of that program? AND you can calculate the total quantity and cost?! neither did i! now, i'm really glad i'm in that crazy web class. i am beginning to like dreamweaver too! all the capabilities in one click of the mouse!

the hills
i just tried running the other way of the hills and man! wat torture. it's so much harder than the way i usually run. i could only run half the way and had to walk the rest. i am not sure if i can ever complete it. the uphill is brutal! 20 mins on one hill! augh. i don't know if want to torture myself this way. i must press on...
anyone know of any good high energy music to keep me going? NO 80's!

stanford hills: completed!
yup, i just finished running all of the hills! yay! did it at a snail's pace of 45 mins. not bad for my bum ankle.
next step: conquering it the other way. i think it's harder going this way. we shall see!
