happy 2-years!

this week marks the 2-year anniversary of my blogging.

underachiever

dood, i just found out that i do NOT have to get an A in all my classes. jeesh! o well, i guess it helped me work my butt off for a good gpa. that bogus rule drove me insane! well, at least i don't have to stress to much about my management class now. :P

prime rib overdose

bleh. no more beef for a VERY long time for me. can you believe i OD'd on prime rib??!!
i got to go to the fancy schmancy p.a.country club and have all-you-can-eat prime rib. after 1.25 pieces i was ready to burst. i still feel sick. gee, i think my eyes were to big for my stomach. heh. i wasted a succulent piece of prime rib! sigh. i've never been this full in my life, EVER.

no more trips :(

i'm not going to taiwan anymore. sigh. since i'm putting together an exhibit for a class i thought it was best if i didn't go on a trip. how sad. orca woman (mean old unhealthy-looking classmate) sent a mean email to me too. o well. at least i have the parentals out of my hair for 1.5 weeks. let's party! :P

not so shiny world

i have heard a few stories recently to really make me thank God that my world is happy place. i know i live in a bubble where things are sedate but at least they don't have interesting surprises. gotta pray for the world and its peeps.

no more MN

so sad, the flights are full to and from MN. where's everyone going??!!

another niece! name: TBD

my sister popped her baby out w/o anesthesia! crazy! not a good decision. i have yet wait to get her reaction. heh heh. so, yeah, it's a girl but the baby's name is to be decided! another kiddo to play w/! yipeee!

my sister had a girl this morning! yipee! her name is yet to be known... i hope it's not TOO weird. :P

i'm SO excited! i am gonna go to MN this weekend to view the fall colors!! woohoo! i am debating to go back to the old style of shooting w/ a film camera. i am also going back to see my aunt who received hand surgery yesterday.

i must get back into manual mode of shooting. i dunno if i remember how to do it. we'll see. hee hee!

on my way to graduatin'

turned in my proposal for my thesis today! i pray that everything goes smoothly and the paperwork goes through! i'll have to wait till the graduate dept. gives it an a-ok! half a burden is now gone.

i got some feedback from a professor today on my work. it's interesting how perceptive she can be basing her judgment on two projects and two papers. she said i write well!?! that's quite a big shock. she also said some other encouraging things which has made me think twice if i should stay in the field of graphic design.

well, back to pretending to study! i have an online test on saturday on management! ACK! i am in dire need of intervention to make ME study!

insert foot waaay into mouth

imagine you're asking a professor if he would like to be the committee chair for your master's thesis. the following blunder happens:
student: i would really like to work on you. i mean WITH you!
student is shuddering inwardly hoping the professor didn't notice.

ah hem, yes, that scenario happend to someone today. luckily the professor is young and seems a bit fruity. his reaction was actually kinda funny.

i certainly learned MY lesson the 2nd time around.
