i had a fun-filled memorial day weekend including my graduation. will say more later. my photos are up from this weekend. rite now, my hands are killing from the dr. mario marathon. :P

bittersweet ending

i had my last class ever tonight. it feels weird. i feel a sense of accomplishment, yet a lot of sadness. i truly enjoyed my experience these past 2 years along with the stress and frustration. i learned a lot of cool things and some new things about myself. what's next? finishing my creative work project and thesis writing. i'm targeted to complete by the end of august.

some time this week, i'll blog about the cool projects i've come across and done.

purple people eater

picked up my cap, gown, and hood (weird piece of fabric) today. i tried it on and i turned into a purple people eater. at least it's not gold, SFSU's other color. it's A LOT better than my h.s. turd colors: brown, gold, and white. all this graduation stuff is surreal. school went by so fast, a total blur.

if ya'll want to come watch the mass exodus of purple people eaters...graduation is next sat, 5/28. you sure are welcomed to! i have 3 tickets left. i'm glad that i have my homie jenny graduatin' wit me! woohoo!

ouch, my brain.

i was just subjected to 3 hours of my professor talking about his background, achievements in design, and about my department. it was cool to see what he has done. although i noticed 2 hecka annoying things. first, he loved saying "things of that nature" (i think the count was 20 times). second, he tried to be humble about himself but didn't succeed in doing so. it was a terrible cycle. my brain is still recovering from the way he spoke about himself. we were all rolling our eyes and trying not to smirk. i was actually surprised to hear that my prof. has achived so much(and he's still pretty young). i found out that my dept has/is going through a lot of positive changes. i wish i was going to still be around to see them. actually, i wish a lot of things i could've/should've done while in school. i'm proud to say that my dept. faculty is prolly better than the other art institutions in the area. :P

alrite, enuff of my miserable monday. my brain is shot dead. one more project to complete, one more class!!!

i saw 3 movies this weekend. i rate them:
-terrible slow torture (but imaginative)
-terrible but not as torturous (bizarre azn movie)
-not as terrible (was hecka long and needed to have a few more laughs)

"i'm taking photos for my project"

i know you guys have been hearing that a lot from me this past weekend. my last project for class is very vague. therefore, i remain vague. :P i'll explain it some day-maybe when i'm finished. it's actually pretty interesting but i am not sure how it's going to turn out. if you see some mysterious photos on my site, remember: "i'm taking photos for my project". heh heh.

movies coming out!

can u believe i'm kinda interested in watching "house of wax"? it seems less scary than aliens and psycho thrillers. i think i may be able to handle this movie and w/o a bat next to my bed. ;P

"monster in law" also looks pretty good.

any takers? nuthin' better to do than go to the movies on a rainy afternoon.

house of flying daggers

is a soap opera elongated into a movie. definitely a disappointment.
it was hilarious to make fun of tho. one highlight, azn legolos w/ an injured bum.
the movie was wat the critics said: very colorful.

the birds are out chirping at dawn, the sun is shining, the jackhammers waking me up at 7:30am...and it's MAY!

school is ending in 3 weeks!!! i'm trying not to stress over the "end" and what is to "come". unfortunately, the real end is not till august when i finish my creative work project (CWP) and writing. right now, my CWP been on hold for a week. sigh.

may is also the start of construction on our home. i was pleasantly woken-up by the sound of jackhammering. no more sleeping past 8am for me. darn. at least it's not earlier...apparently there's a city law where construction work can only begin after 8am. we found that out when the neighbors came out at 7:30am to tell us. :P i am seriously lacking in sleep right now.

the end of april/may also brought me the flu/cough/sore throat. whopee. i couldn't come out of the house for 3 days which was driving me crazy. i will admit that i am a terror when i'm sick. i'm just always itching to go out and do something. i hate sleeping for large amounts of time. i finally was able to go out and hike on sat which made me feel better. although, it sure didn't help my cough/sore throat. now, i just have a violent cough. phew! maybe it'll help build up my stomach muscles...

may is full of tons of activities! i have one weekend free and will prolly need to use it for hiking. i'm trying to "train" for peru but it looks like it's not going to happen anytime soon.

the good thing about may is the weather! let's go fly a kite! anyone want to join me?:)
