hilarious kiddo

adorable london, with hair

here's a story about my precious niece london, age 3 almost 4.
three days ago...
my sister was changing baby holland and london asked her if she can cut paper. my sister says yes. london goes into the bedroom and starts cutting her paper. a few minutes later, london comes back and starts crying. my sister looks at her and says "what happend to your beautiful hair?!!". apparently london decided to cut her own hair for who knows what reason. the way my sister explains it, it's pretty bad. my sister said she tried not to laugh but it was so sad. she has been trying over the past year to grow london's hair longer. i requested a picture of the hack job.

i got this email from my sister...
London said she didn't want to go with us to the YMCA (for Chase's class) because everyone was going to laugh at her hair. So she put a hat on and now won't take it off.

I asked her if she'd take it off so I could take a picture of her hair for you, she said no.

in another email later on...
So London finally took off her hat...but I'll wait to see if she'll let me take a picture of it. She said, "My hair looks funny.", I said why, she said "Because I cut it."

haha! she's still wearing the hat today and won't take it off. that girl is hilarious. she has the most character for any 3-yr old. she makes me crack up every day the way she acts and what she says. she's also tau pee (chinese word).

i'm still waiting for that picture...

getting bit back in the...

behind! i can't believe my evil prof. did this to me. he put me in the same team with the classmate i told him i didn't want to work with again! this classmate has been on my team 2 times already and made my life miserable. RRRARGH! well at least this time the classmate said he would take a step back. evil prof! one more month...

to walk or not to walk?

that's been the question in the back of my mind for the past few weeks. i am debating if it's worthwhile to go to my graduation ceremony even if i am not 100% done.

the negatives are:
-$60 for cap and gown rental
-you just stand up when your department is called (your name doesn't even get called!)
-it's a LONG graduation b/c it's the entire school!
-it doesn't feel like a real graduation to me b/c i will still be writing the stinking thesis...
- i only get 5 preciousss tickets

the positive is:
-i didn't go to my college grad, so i should go to this one?

what shall i do?

can u believe i'm "almost" done? ack! what am i gonna do? back to limbo...

poker?

i played poker for the 2nd time last sunday. i swear i had beginner's luck! i still don't know what the winning order of the hands are. i should look that up. i think some ppls were conspiring by distracting me last minute by talking about kitchen appliances. hmph. after that, mike beat me again. i think he's up 3-2 now. double hmph.

i'm still thinking about designing girlie poker kits...hello kitty style?

last nite, 3-yr old london brought me to where i was sleeping and tucked me in.
this morning, 5-yr old chase came in and said "it's morning time, wake up!"

don't you hate it when you run errands and forget to do the most important one? the worst is when you pass by the store 4x AND forget to do it on your way home, passing the store once again. can my white hairs creep in any faster?

finally got my NEW WiFi router! never buy stinking linksys! i paid $90 for it and it only worked for 2 years! netgear's WiFi router is soo cool. it's super small and quite cute-the way it sits up. it was really easy to install too. i found out how to get a WEP in 5 secs vs. never understanding how to do it through linksys' instructions.

one more week of my b.b. pass! recently, i saw harold & kumar go to w.c. and elektra. w.c. was surprisingly funny. unfortunately, there were a few scenes i really didn't need to see. i learned one lesson: i ain't gonna be a submissive azn! those animated hamburgers have possessed me into wanting REAL White Castle! anyone up for a road trip to w.c.? ;P
elektra was surprisingly a-ok after hearing how horrible it was. i enjoyed this one short scene when elektra, oops, better not give it away... :P the mini-elektra was also a nice addition to the plot.
next movie? sideways! if i can get it.

homemade doggy treats? i think that's wat my next team project will be. anyone want to help support my team and order super-healthy gourmet doggy treats? i'm taking pre-orders! i think this is better than "infused" brownies, ahem. i'm just glad i wasn't the only other team member that had problems with that.

yay! i finally get to relax for 3 days!

moving on...

project #3 of 5 completed today. i had the worst team experience EVER just because of 1 person. thank goodness that's over. now i can take a few gulps of air and move into project #4. i'm quite excited for this project! we have to design, make, market, and sell a product. our grade depends on the profit. quite "apprentice"-like, ain't it? my team consists of 4 females and 2 males (one, very opinionated). this will be a very interesting team. at least, i know this time someone will actually be LISTENING to wat i am saying!!! moving along...
