so the internship was for full-time starting in march. that means no sunset for me for now. always prepared for disappointment, the story of my life. sunupset told me to call them before june, at least that's something. ah wells, back to searching for an internship. anyone have any leads? i'm looking for anything related to marketing or graphic design.

yay, for rain!
can't believe i am actually saying this but i'm happy for windy, rainy weather today. my classes were cancelled due to a power outage today! yay! darn, i better start doing my hw today or i'll be stressing during ski trip. heh heh.

ant & worm brkfst
this morning, i got up to have my usual breakfast, cinnamon toast crunch. i poured it out and noticed ants all over the box. i was contemplating hm...should i eat my cereal? after poking it around, i saw ants floating. um, ok, never mind eating that! i decided to reward myself after killing the ants. i was going to make blueberry pancakes! i was getting ready to make the pancake mix and saw things moving around in it. great. worms growing in the mix. i don't want to eat THAT much protein for breakfast. sickness, i tell ya, sickness! i think i'll stick to ramen.

8. passed a mile-long funeral procession on 280. thank goodness i was on the other side.
7. didn't get hit by a metal file cabinet that flew out of a dumb person's pick-up truck.

5. my big fat obnoxious fiance finale! finally ending!! i can't believe this girl is tearing up her family by a lie.
4. reality shows ending...d-rod won the mole last week! :O meredith will finally choose her bachelor. make a decision already!

1. interview with sunset magazine for an internship! i'm trying not to get my hopes up because i am frequently disappointed.
it has been hard for me to find a graphic design job/internship. please pray for my interview. it's on wed. at 11am.

monday classes, no fun
i am learning that having a class on mondays does me no good. i tend to take a no homework break during the weekend. i find that hw due on monday always kicks my behind on sunday nites and monday mornings. could it be procrastination or just having a monday class? :P

yes! the azns are infiltrating mt.view even more! i just went to a nU azn supermarket called, golden phoenix, located at rengstorff and middlefield rd! a grade higher than the market on castro st. but not up to marina & 99's standards. in general prices are a little higher but meat prices are competitive.

all i can say is g'luck golden phoenix and get that bakery going! then i'll be there more often. :P

only .5 to go!
yep, finished .95 of the hills today. i gotta conquer that .5, first killer hill! i am training myself to run a snail's pace. i run so slow i could walk faster going up those hills! gotta keep that heart pumpin'. next goal will be to conquer the hills the opposite way which is prolly much harder! anyone want to join me?! :) too bad my ankles are always so sore afterwards. sigh.

it's past midnite and i've been on this rectangular silver thing since 4:30pm. ok, not counting my ALIAS break. my eyes are starting to fuzz and water. i'm like half way done with my homework that's due tomorrow. yes, i have class tomorrow. i have no idea why either. i thought president's day was a public holiday. :( anyways, i can't believe this design process my prof wants us to do. it eats up abnormal amounts of time. some of you are prolly wondering what kind of process i have to go through. i would explain but my brain's a bit fried. it goes something like this => brainstorming to final concept => project documents>design rationale>sketches & storyboards>site maps>organizational naming and then after i'm done with THAT then i can finally start designing which is the style guide>page layout/sketches>color palette>page properties. i am working backwards. so basically i need to do the design documents which will take me 3 hours plus i have to catch up from last weeks projects. just SHOOT ME now! i guess this process helps us with "real world" situations (aka. website creation) and makes us organized 'n all. okigottagetoffthisthingbeforeipassOUT!

yay! i ran it!
well, ok, most of it. i conquered .75 of the elusive stanford hills today. i shall own the 3.5 mile all-terrain course very soon! too bad the first .25 are the hardest 3 hills. i hope to take one hill at a time. errr. running all of the hills was my goal two years ago. let's see if i can do it this year. pretty soon i will be able to catch up to maria and we can run it together. bring IT ON maria! :P i just hope my ankles stay healthy for this year. i can't wait till spring finally arrives and i can try to hit my goal every other day or so...um, wishful thinking.

has spring arrived yet? my ALLERGIES have! is there anyone else out there who has allergies morning-afternoon every day? it's driving me mad! mad i tell ya! i think my nose is about to fall off soon. aAAHhhchoooo!

new design
in lieu of the web class i am taking, i had to "design" my student website. let me know wat you think. i wanted something whimsical since it's just for my prof. to check our assignments. if you really are really bored and have nothing better to do, you can check out my progress as the semester goes on. i only have project 1 done and it's not very entertaining. :P the second half of the semester is working on a real client project. we'll see how that goes!

fyi. i am NOT nyc crazy. i just couldn't think of anything else more colorful than the subway signage. PLUS i love circles. if ya'll are ever out there, check out the new and improved (but still smelly) times square stop. it has flashing lights! so broadway! hah!

i can't believe how many after accidents i've seen in the past year on 280. luckily i've always been on the other side or far from them. yesterday, i saw a suv turned over near school around the area where 280s starts. today, i saw a city team truck turned over on 280s near serramonte blvd. i just pray that i won't be near accidents like those. eeks!

do you consider business as a profession? yes, folks that's my 5-10 paragraph essay i need to write by 3pm tomorrow. i hope to get started by 10am tomorrow. so much for starting tonite! darn business writing class! if only...sigh...you don't want to know the story how i ended up having to take this class. bleh! one good thing is that i can practice my crappy writing skills. arex says IM doesn't help wit writin'. gee, i wonder y? ;P
