problem: i couldn't find my cell to call my cousin amy when i was done with class.

solution: ran to the bookstore, logged on AIM, prayed one of my cousins were online (thank goodness a cousin was online), had my cousin call amy (good thing i remembered her cell #), AND wah la! i had my cousin tell amy wat time to meet me.

summary: how useful technology can be when you REALLY need to reach someone! :)

i waited the second to last day to continue this site/blog/waste of space&money. it was the realization that everything would be gone if i didn't renew. this was the last desperate measure to cough up 50 bux. maybe i should start thinking of wat i should do a tad bit earlier...like use my skool web space. hah. i am so lame. well, i am keeping this site alive for at least one more year. hopefully i'll have something more useful on it by next year (yea, right).

northridge --> beginning of grapevine= 3 hours

i hitched a ride from geo to LA this past weekend. i visited the kiddies in northridge. it was nice seeing them out of oklahoma. they looked much happier to be in LA. it's most likely they will move back to go to the children's hospital. london looks a bit healthier but it's the inside that really matters. testing is still in process and it's almost been a month! sigh still waiting for the results... please pray for miracles.
fyi. if you don't know what's going on...london (2-yr old niece) was diagnosed with "auto immune deficiency" which is a broad definition for her body fighting off the white cells. leukemia was ruled out but it's still to be determined. please pray for her and the family.

looking at model homes is great! i had the opportunity to dream about my ideal home. sigh i can't believe how fast the prices sky-rocketed from 2 years ago in the northridge/porter ranch area. they were selling these homes at 750k and now they are around 1 mill. crazee stuff. these homes could fit like 2 families! amazing!

the ride home was part torture (not b/c of the ppl in the car ;P). imagine sitting in the hot sun with the windows open at a standstill for hours. we were stuck before the grapevine due to a brush fire. it took us 3 hours to get through it. my brain was sizzling from the slow heat. i made a trucker friend and took a few random pictures. well, tried to take a picture of a helicopter dropping water on the bushes. darn zoom on the s230! the rest of the trip was zoom zoom zoom!
tidbit in the car: i learned that geo likes to be scandalous...never believe a word of wat he says! hah!

yup, i did it! i ordered the NEW powerbook that came out today! it's the 15" superdrive! i surely got a supa price! luckeee me! with that deal i also decided to throw in the 10gb ipod. i hope i will put good use to it. i am NOT giving it away for free! ahem. i still can't believe i finally got a) a laptop b) a mac & c) an ipod. now i get to spend more money on software. all this for education! wat a way to put all my hard earned cash in an item i will prolly be replacing in 2-3 years.


on the bug-y side of things... there are ANTSANTSANTSANTSANTSANTSANTSANTSANTSANTS EVERYWHERE!
i vacuumed up hundreds of ants in the farley house. so nasty. that is something i do NOT want to see again. imagine hundreds of ants attracted to this yellow food dropped under a coffee table WITH the trail leading to a closet full of mOrE ANTS!

when will this torture end? how can we put an end too all antkind? wat's their contribution in the food chain?

made it home earlier from class tonite, around 9:20 pm. enjoyed the moonlit/pitch black drive, listening to 3 doors down, and passing the slow cars in my putt-putt car. almost missed a curve exiting, oops! ;P 280 sure is a purty highway but at the same time worries me b/c of my tendencies to drive fast (even in a putt-putt car). sfsu IS hecka far but driveable if it's only for 3 days a week. i've been running up the miles in the gopher car. luckily i ain't driving the subaroo and chuggin' more gas.

skool's in session which explains my absence in blogging and uploading pics. after coming back from grad seminar class, i find myself needing to practice/pretend to be an intellectual. hah! man...i wonder if i have any brain cells left in my ol' noggin. any suggestions on how to be an intellect? me must stimulate mind with intellectual conversations and books. anyone wanna practice wit me?

anti-procrastinator procrastination was my name until i went back to school. i have no idea how i went through the college years being 100% procrastinator and making it out with decent grades. now i find myself running with my head cut off trying to finish all these darn assignments in time. most of my free time spent this week was trying to do assignments! ah! the horror! will my procrastinating days be over soon? sigh saddest part is that i am only taking 3 classes which one of them is a "fun" class.

e-bay sellers are shady yep, they SURE are! i am a first and last time buyer. i shall never trust again. if you really want to know the grueling details ask arex.

weekly visit from the ant farm again. this time i sprayed twice, gave up all hope, and handed off the massacre to my mum.

oh yea, went urban camping this past weekend. urban=2 trips to safeway, rite aid, kmart, all in one day near the campgrounds and round table pizza for dinner. also went to the beach and the santa cruz boardwalk. :) very enjoyable.
