cell phone madness

i've been shopping around for new cell phones/plans and have been quite frustrated by it. do i go through "shady" chinese dealer or "official" cingular dealer? i have a "shady" chinese dealer currently "upset" at me. i think i am gonna take my business elsewhere even if she was offering me free phones. back to the search...ergh. i just want new phones for my ma and i.

old ppls exercise

i tried "curves" with mariyaya today. it was very different any other kind of gym. the format is circuit training for every 30 seconds. every other station is a platform to walk/run in place and the other stations are hydraulic machines that target different areas of the body. i liked the machines but running in one place is a little hokey for me. i never reached above 50% of my recommended heart rate. the music was 80's, 90's, and today's mixes; which wasn't so shabby. i'd buy their cd. i think this type of gym is great for older ppls. i'd take my mom there. i need to go on searching for my perfect gym. i may bite the bullet and pay $$ for the Y or mebbe even to 24hr if the price is right. i just want a nice pool to swim in!

the terror that awaits me

i am in fear of my youngest niece, holland. the stories i have heard about her from my sister have been quite frightening. she's a bully, devious, screamer, eats bugs (today, my sister had to pull out the body parts one by one.) and aware of the bad things she's not supposed to be doing. she's only 10 months old. i'm scared. on the other hand, london and chase are so cute it makes up for it. :P i can't wait to see them.

priceline

i'm so annoyed at priceline.com. ok, half of the problem was on my part (i blame it on pressure from my dad.) :P the other half is the guessing what hotel you're gonna end up through priceline.

long story short, we're going to go visit the kiddos in LA on friday. tried to get a hotel in the area but ended up being further away than expected due to priceline's misleading map. ugh.
