gobble! gobble!
915 am: turkey bowl. i find myself participating less and less. thus, the less sore i am every year! :) we'll see if i make it next year... every year of the turkey bowl is memorable. this year it was a souvenir piece from richard's shirt. ;P

2 pm: turkey I. the eating festivities began! i went to my uncle's and ate a safeway thanksgiving dinner ahem, lunch. i was quite surprised at how moist the turkey was and the fixings were traditional and salty. pretty much satisified with the turkey quality but still wanted something more. i held myself back in preparation for the next meal.

6 pm: turkey II. this is wat i have been waiting for ALL year! my ma's famous turkey. oh! i cannot explain the mouth-watering sensation i receive at each bite. juicy, succulent morsels, even without gravy! i only eat my turkey with a can of whole berry cranberries. i can't wait to eat more tomorrow and the day after and then i must fast. well, i'll confess that we got to have a turkey preview in sept.
turkey hint: mollie stone's organic is the best!
this is what thanksgiving is made for!

ok, thanksgiving is not all about turkey (but it is!). here are some thankful random thoughts at 1052 pm:
-every day i thank god for getting into school. i am really starting to enjoy it even if i am bombared with tons of hw. my perfectionist/procrastination tendencies cause me to work on projects longer than i expect. i even re-work my projects after the due date. :P
-for turkey! tummy very full. must exercise tomorrow.
-for my possessed pc to be working at this very moment.
-for everything! from soap to my mac to family! :)

happy thanksgiving!

new occupation: corn pollinater, field worker
you shure read rite! for 10 days i will be a corn pollinator in my pa's fields in kauai. i know what you are thinking...kauai?! ooo nice! so not! i will be working 8 hours a day in the hot fields. maybe i'll hear corn popping. hah! why am i doing this? to help my pa out. his candidate backed out and decided to work at kmart. :P he needed someone asap. i volunteered myself since i have nothing better to do during winter break. i obviously was not thinking of what i was going to do. i will be a field worker at one of the most beautiful vacation spots! ha ha! hopefully i'll finally catch a hawaiian sunset (the last 3 times i visited i've never caught a sunset). hm...i should get some wicking pants! this will be an unforgettable experience.

it's christmas time
i've started shopping for christmas presents this week. something triggered in me and i hit mervyn's super sale. great bargains! i think september got me into the gift-making mood i've been making gifts since then! yes, i am nuts. :)
