senior moment

ok, i had a major senior moment today. i was looking for my cell phone charger that i put away after cleaning my room yesterday. i couldn't find my phone for the longest time. i checked every nook and cranny in my room! i was going nutso trying to think back wat i did with my charger the day before. i finally enlisted my dad to help and of course he found it in 10 minutes. it was in a bag where i keep my library books, hanging off a chair. he summarized the hunt for my charger as "you're stupid". i'm like great, not only am i senile, i'm also stupid.
know, i now i'm getting old real fast along with my arthritic prone fingers. :P

anyone else have good senior moments to share?

where should i go?

i have one more project to go! unfortunately, i have already been starting to dream about christmas break and on vacation mode! i get 1.5 months off! whoopee! so my dilemma is:
where should i go?
i'm already hitting the warmer parts of the country: oahu this week! :) LA from the 28th-31st. yay, kiddies!
i dunno where to go in january. my choices are anywhere northwest airlines will take me to.
that leads me to the other part of the country where i know ppls: NYC, d.c., chicago, and MN. the only drawback is that i don't want to freeze my fanny off like last year. do i dare make this midwest to east coast trek? OR i can stay at home and heckle ppls while they are at work. mUwahhaa! too bad i don't know anyone in the southern states. anyone up for a vacation? :P

augh, leakage

my brain's not soaking in this management stuff. it's just all coming out...augh. i don't feel like studying anymore. i still have tons to memorize. wats wrong w/ me? this will be my last test EVER (if i don't go back to school). i have lost motivation. even getting a good grade doesn't motivate me. sigh.

note: ay-chung noodle

don't go during busy hours. management becomes disorganized and it goes downward from there. it makes customers wait at least 1 hour in line and for fud. hopefully, as time goes by ay-chung noodle will be ready for their eager customers. i'm still waiting to eat my shrimp pancake again. :P

dee-lish!

ay-chung noodle restaurant located in milpitas at the ranch 99 plaza across from tk noodle is YUMMERS! i tried the shrimp pancake, beef noodle stew, and the cuttle fish startchy noodle soup. it was really good. it's even better than the ay-chung noodle in san gabriel, in LA. the shrimp pancake as superb w/ a flavor burst of something, like miso? go try it! it's not too $$ either. i'll go there anytime! altho, the taiwanese porkchop does not look as good as sheng kee's. YUM!

what's baking now...

pumpkin orange cake
6 bundt chocolate swirl chip chocolate cakes
2 persimmon breads

sorry kids, it's for my art exhibit reception tomorrow. if you're lucky you may get to have some on friday. :P i got to experiment a little bit with these recipes. i can't wait to see how it turns out. i think it's funny when ppls ask for recipes from me because i just add and subtract ingredients. it's like a one-of-a-kind creation!
