mis(sed)-communication
in the land of emails, i have tried very hard to make sure each message i write can be deciphered properly. i thought i have done a decent job until recently. some of the emails i have sent and received have been read into incorrectly. i still need to remember to start each email with a blank slate, assume the person knows nothing, and clarify every single thing. perhaps, i should consider not even bothering to send an email. either way, i'll get burned even if it's unintentional. i appreciate the rapport i have with friends where i can freely type away and we understand each other.
gnomies, T designs, gnomies
last tuesday, jenny and i ate at crepevine in SF. after, we went to a store named tutti frutti on irving and 8th. if you have visited this store before, you would say this is THE store for me. in the window, i saw this awesome t-shirt in red:

i wanted to buy it badly but i controlled myself. i ended-up buying a t-shirt for a special someone.
i love cheesy and quirky t-shirts (of course, i appreciate "well-designed" shirts)! i am slowly building up my t-shirt collection again (trying hard to control my spending). i had a t-shirt collection in high school but i don't wear those anymore 'cuz they're guy's cut and white (ya'll know how much i love white). now, they have ladie's cut! here are a few designs from david and goliath i get a kick out of.

side note:it seems like garden gnomes are becoming popular. i'd like to say i am an original garden gnome liker. wat is a garden gnome? here's a picture of a cute one:

i think amelie and w&g: adventures of the were-rabbit sparked my gnomies button.

i'm a member!

i've always wanted to join an art museum and finally, i have! jenny and i went to the de young museum yesterday for free. i fell in love with it! at first, i was a bit apprehensive in going b/c i heard it wasn't that great from a few friends. one step into the museum, i knew it was destiny. :P i joined at an "higher" level so i could bring in more guests, etc... some of it IS tax deductible so it's allll goood! woohoo! time to be art re-learned!
