hot diggity dog!

tomorrow, nathan's hot dog eating contest will commence. will kobayashi compete? who will win? kobayashi, joey, or the locust? we'll find out tomorrow on ESPN from 8-9am and if you miss it you can catch it on ESPN 2 at 8-9pm and 11:30pm-12:00am PST!

why am i so excited about it? because we went to see the real deal a couple of weeks ago. guess who we got to meet?!



JOEY CHESTNUT! the one and ONLY came up to cheer on his fellow mates aka. gurgitators (term for eating contestants)!

here starts the contest...


look at 'em go! the skinny guy on the left aka. tapeworm, older guy is known as the locust (he also holds many eating world records. his wife (can eat 25ish hot dogs in 10 mins, past gurgitator) and mom watch on too.), the hot dog hat dude, i forget who he was.


the asian guy next to the hot dog hat dude just decided to join in the fun and "competed".


sherry captures the perfect look of all of the audience's faces: awe, disgust, and confusion.


the winner was the locust! he beat everyone by eating two times the amount. i think it was 32 hot dogs?!


brian and i mock competing. those nathan dogs are really filling. i couldn't even eat 1/4 of it!
