it's time...

i took off a few days of work this week to "start" working on my thesis. i feel like it's time to get my bee-hind going. yes, tomorrow i will actually start the progress. today, i took half a day off to get me into gear. i treated myself to an agonizing allergy-ridden and sun-beating down my back romp at "the dish" aka. stanford hills. i was smart to go at the hottest time, at noon. :P
after i got home, i wanted some yum yum in my tum and decided to try to make frittata with having no idea how to make it. this is how it turned out w/ my salad:

it was super duper easy to make. all you need is to:
1. sautee garlic in an oven-safe pan
2. add whatever stuff you have at home (i added some mystery pork, tomatoes, mystery cheese from cheeseboard, seasonings, and green onion)
3. whisk 6 eggs with 2 tbsps of milk
4. add eggs to the pan. cook egg mixture for a few minutes in the pan, until the egg is 3/4 cooked.
5. sprinkle cheese on top
6. pop the oven-safe pan under the broiler for 5-7 minutes. turn the pan around a few times to make sure the whole area gets browned.
wah-la! you have frittata made under 20 minutes!
back to the thesis... yes,
btw: no, i didn't eat the whole frittata. i think i would have an egg-overdose.
