a good reminder

15 But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, 16 keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.
1 Peter 3:15-16

i always need to remember to treat everyone, especially my mom with gentleness and respect. i don't know why it's especially hard for me to not lose my temper with my mom. i can justify all the reasons why she rubs me the wrong way. but i also have to love her regardlessly because she IS my mom. i want to set an example of how following Him can change my attitude to love my mom unconditionally. in turn, i hope my parents see the change and ask me about my change in attitude. then i will have the chance to be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. it is my heart's desire to see my parents saved. there are times where i give-up hope but i know it lies in Him. i believe the right time will come and i will be prepared. please pray for me. thanks.
