welcome, 2006

2 weeks late...
i've been up to no good and had a rude-awakening this morning. i'm finally ready to cast-off 2005's bad "stuff" and treasure the good moments :). i can enter 2006 with open arms. sorry, it's a bit coded. let's just say '05 will certainly be memorable with the good, bad, and ugly. this verse from hebrews 12:1 has been a good reminder for me...
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

with the new year, i'm happy to say i found a study buddy! i contacted my SFSU buddy and we're gonna meet every few mondays to work on our thesis' together. i think we'll be able to motivate each other since we're in the same program and can help each other. :) i AM going to finish that thesis this spring. those words better stick. ok, time to get back to the thesis. yes, i have actually OPENED my files and started working on them. :P thanks for all the prayers.
