mmm...sunshine!

i spent my gorgeous sunday afternoon bike riding. lane8 and i headed towards stanford for a leisurely ride. on the way back, i wanted to go check out fifi's new work place which is near my home. as we turned right on a street, a huge hill loomed ahead of us. i switched to my low gears but my impatience got to me and i walked. i was amazed that lane8 had such patience and rode up the entire hill (as i walked next to her)! way to go girl! we were rewarded by a nice breezy downhill descent on page mill rd. ahhh! wat a nice afternoon. altho, my behind didn't feel too wonderful last night and now, today. :P too bad i have to sit all day. ouchie.

last nite, i hung out w/ my homies from MN and went to good ol' queen house. it's a restaurant where you always know what to expect and a decent price. i finally tried one new dish and it turned out to be pretty good. fast service and decent food. props all around! even if they are a bit slow on the water.
