no more car!
i can't wait to go to nyc and ride the subway. i have put in a lot of miles in the car from ppls visiting. it's time for me to be the tourist! :) today, i drove to berkeley and then all over SF showing my cousins around. i learned a little secret: leaving berkeley at 3pm is the best. the carpool lane (3ppls) is speedy and the bay bridge is free! although it's a bit scary from the lane changes. university ave --> 80 east carpool lane ~ 5 lanes. 80 east carpool lane --> carpool lane for bay bridge ~6/7 lanes merging. this was all in about 5 mins! i was a bit frazzled after this. next time i am in SF i should put away the map and test how well i know the area. heh heh!

i can't wait to go to nyc! i am leaving wednesday! i am planning to watch "the view with babwa waltah, etc." and movin' out with music by billy joel. i leave nyc monday to head towards MN! wahoo! i extended my stay to 2 nites so i can go visit my old haunts. i sure can't wait to see my best fwend from h.s. and be goofy!
