i can't believe how long my winter break has been. it has been about a month and half and i still have 3 more weekdays of vacation! i can feel a difference mentally. ie. forgetting things a lot more, not being organized, & feeling every day has been the same day for the past month. i am thankful that i got to go on a few trips. i went back to mn last week. boy, it sure felt weird. i haven't been back there for quite awhile. my good ol' high school friend/college roomie took me around and we reminisced about the old times. we visited our old apt, college, high school, perkin's (our h.s. hang-out), and all the new stores that popped up in my semi-hometown, apple valley. i really miss a few things about a.v.: the library (not as nice at mt. view :)), cubfoods (great grocery store), and half-price bookstore. that bookstore is the best-new books for cheap! i could spend hours in that place but 45 mins sufficient for my whirlwind stay in mn. i couldn't believe that they turned the target greatland into a super target! i wished i had time to check it out. it was great to visit wit my homies in nyc & mn (thanks for hosting cindy & jenny)! i sure do miss the old times but look forward to the new (2 weddings to go to in mn!! augh!).
