back to skool
i finished reading hp #5 wednesday mornin', props to myself! now, it's brain mode -click- on. i went through my first day of classes and i have a few gripes:
-why do grad classes need to be in the evening?! don't they know how torturous it is to have classes from 2-9?
-i have a really weird schedule with classes starting at 2, 4, & 6pm. thank goodness i have no class on fridays!
-$$$! i have to buy adobe cs suite, lotso books (or try to find them at the library), and other dumb stuff like more art supplies! scoff!
ok, i'll stop. i guess it IS better than working. :P 1.5 more years of non-work for me. yup, i'm counting down already!
class note: i find it really interesting how in my web design class, the instructor/ta's were warning us that we had to accomodate xyz blah blah amount of hours to this class. nice way of trying to get students to drop so more students could add the class! unfortunately, this has worried me about not being able to take a 4th class and get a job. we shall see. i know i will enjoy this class and finally have a real website up and running afterwards. the second part of the class is building a website for real clients through the SBA. guess who automatically gets to be project manager since she's a grad student?! moi! we shall see how i can whup these kids into shape. i just hope my team members are not bums.
i'm actually looking forward to this class and another one that's a grad seminar class titled design for social change with a focus on media. we were forewarned that this was a liberal class and that we had to keep sensitive issues within the class. i am interested to see what will transpire. i hope i don't go off on my own tirade. i shall be meek azn gal. :P
*props* to my homegal lin for getting into stanford, cal, harvard, & yale law. gee, hard decision here!
