back from OK
it was great to visit my nephew, niece, sis, and bro-in-law. i really missed seeing those cute kiddies (biased of course) who sure are growing up fast! i learned a few lessons while i was there.
1. "let's go to the playroom" translates as let's play trains and push them around for hours! i could only make it through two days of playing trains. BUT i learned that putting train tracks together was fun. unfortunately i had to tell my 4yr old nephew that i could not play trains anymore. thank goodness i am only an auntie. :P
2. dishes needs to be washed at least 4 times a day. i nominated myself the official dishwasher for the week.
3. chicken dinos are good! they are made of real chicken breast and kids love 'em! pure quality there. i think i consumed at least 3 per day.
4. raising two kiddies is hard work. terrible for me to say but, it's sure good to be home!
i really hope my sister moves out of OK. the nasty weather, 7 hr flight (including layovers), and nuthin' fun to do makes OK very unappealing. do NOT go there unless if you have a REALLY good reason, ie. family. :)
i think my sis and hubby have had enuff of OK. they said that they are outta there by november no matter wat. poor them!
all in all, it was a good trip. great time to hang-out, plan and throw a b-day party, relax, sleep-in, and play w/ the kiddies.
off to mexico in two days!
